Sony 16mm F2.8 Sony E-mountPhotographic lens combines a slim 16mm wide angle design with a large maximum aperture of F2.8. It is the ideal lens for shooting small interiors or majestic scenery. Instead of a standard polygonal aperture, this lens incorporates a 7-blade circular aperture for a more natural, rounded blur or bokeh effect.
An internal focusing mechanism prevents the lens barrel from moving for more compact design, faster autofocus response and shorter focusing distances. To optimise performance, aspherical lens elements maintain high contrast (even at maximum apertures) and minimise distortion and flattening of the image plane.
