Compatible with the RF 100-300mm F2.8 L IS USM lens, it features a satin finish on the inner circumference that prevents flare. It not only improves image quality, but also protects the front of the lens from accidental damage, shocks and scratches. The lens hood has the same heat-insulating coating as the lens to reduce the temperature inside the hood and prevent heat haze from forming on hot days. This makes it suitable for use on the move in difficult and bright environments.
